Description
Lifting a first-generation Tacoma increases the angles on the CV joints and boots, which accelerates wear. These one inch thick solid aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum spacers and zinc-plated Grade 8 hardware move the front differential down an inch and changes the CV angles back to where they should be. We even provide aluminum spacers and longer zinc-plated Class 8.8 bolts to move the stock skid plate down.
Note: Before ordering, support the front differential with a jack, remove the (2) vertical differential mounting bracket bolts, and lower the differential until there is a 1″ gap between the frame and the rubber bushing. Verify that the differential support brackets will clear all components.
